About the Event

This session will explore how trauma informed practices can be integrated into the work of intimacy coordinators on set from pre-production to post shoot.

Aimed At:

Open to those with some ICing experience wishing to develop their reflective practice and to integrate trauma sensitive approaches into their profession.

This is not an introductory level workshop in intimacy coordination and not suitable for those at an Entry Level career stage.

Recording - Moving Body Arts does not offer workshop recordings if you cannot attend. We ask that people enlist only if they can commit to be present online since our workshops may include exercises and non-attendance affects student engagement and group learning.

Trainer:

Yarit Dor (MA, PGDip, PGCLTHE)

Is a Co-Director and Lead Trainer of Moving Body Arts.

She is the former chair of Bectu Intimacy Coordinators Branch and amongst the first generation of intimacy coordinators in the UK and EU. Yarit is a visiting movement, intimacy and stage combat tutor in various drama schools in London. Her productions have included many sensitive scenes including violence, torture, death and intimate action. She is especially interested in supporting material that requires extreme emotional explorations. Yarit has worked for 10+ years in bodywork & physical wellbeing methods for which she studied Trauma Sensitive Yoga. She is currently studying herbalism and somatics.

TV/Film credits include: Glass Onion, Rings of Power S2, The Wheel of Time, Adult Material, Atlanta, Domino Day, Mood amongs many others and the upcoming anticipated Jilly Cooper’s adaptation, Rivals.
